Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given!

Queen: Queen is my favorite band ever. I've loved them since I was three years old. At first I just loved making up stories behind Bohemian Rhapsody, choreographing dances to Another One Bites The Dust, etc. But as I grew older, I started appreciating the raw talent of the band outside of their greatest hits. They've all written top ten songs, they all have been college-educated, they're masters of their instruments, and they're ridiculously attractive. Currently, my favorite song by them is "Sail Away Sweet Sister (To The Sister I Never Had)", but that changes every other week or so.

Rocky Horror Picture Show: I saw RHPS when I was twelve years old. From Wedding scene to Time Warp, I just thought it was weird and semi-boring. Then Frank threw off that cape and I hit puberty like a brick wall. Yes, a man in makeup and lingerie was my first sexual crush. Probably explains a lot. I went to see MI when I was 14, and went semi-regularly until I was 16. Took a year's break and then started coming regularly from October 2006 on. Joined cast June 2007 and have been on since.

Activism: I started my activism work in September of 2003, when I joined the Gay-Straight Alliance. I really got into it after I was harassed for being a lesbian/bisexual in P.E., despite the fact I had a boyfriend. It came to a head when I was physically attacked in the shower. My harasser was suspended for three days, and my friend's girlfriend who defended me was banned from stepping foot on any high school in the district. Since then, I've been a part of or affiliated with the Gay-Straight Alliance, the Gay and Lesbian Student Education Network, Gays and Lesbians Allied Against Defamation, Lifeworks, Bienestar, etc. I've lobbied Assemblymembers and Senators in Sacramento, gone to endless LGBT rallies and events, and marched in two Pride parades. It's something that I love. I can remember wanting to an activist ever since I read a biography on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Schoolin': Not sure what this means, but I do love school, as much as I hate homework and busywork.

Theater: I've always wanted to be an actor. I'd be happier in a Theatre 100 class than getting my degree in any other subject. I'm so glad that I know it now.

Queen: I'll write something new, since it's not really fair to cut in paste. I think, as silly as it sounds, that I am in love with the band, instead of just loving the band. I know a lot about their personal lives, I admire their accomplishments, I still feel exquisite sorrow for the loss of Freddie Mercury, even though I was only two when he died. I can relate to a great number of their lyrics, and am left in wondrous silence to the lyrics I don't understand.

Pansexuality: Interesting. Well, in my life, I've identified as straight, lesbian, bisexual, straight, and bisexual, in that order. And I've never felt comfortable with it. Lesbian and straight seemed too limiting and bisexual seemed almost immature and promiscuous. I know that's society's fault, but truly, the word "bisexual" evokes imagery for me of drunk girls making out to turn guys on, not women that have actual emotional attachment to other women. I tried "queer" for half a week, but no luck there. I applaud anyone who feels comfortable with that term, I just still feel it has a negative connotation. Then I read an interesting article on something I had never heard of before. Omnisexuality. It was just several stories from people who never considered gender in the people they dated, and something clicked. I'm attracted to many men, but not necessarily "manly" (shooting guns, eating red meat, etc.) men, and I'm attracted to women but I'm much pickier than with men emotionally (I guess I now expect men to be emotionally handicapped XD), and I've been attracted to many trans folks (transgender, but also including transvestites). But I still didn't like the term "omni"sexual. Sounded too biblical. "Pansexual" means the same thing, and it has Greek mythological connotations, which you know I can't pass up. :D

Theater: It's the only thing I've been constantly passionate about. Even during my "oh I want to be a rock star/Imagineer/teacher" phases, I knew I would give it all up in a second to be a working actor. I love (most of) the people, I like the way it makes me feel, even when I fail.

Mr. Leif: Heh. It's a little weird to answer this about a person, but I'll try. I met Leif when he was a techie for MI when I first joined cast. I remember the meeting. Steffan said, "This is Leif." I assumed he had mispronounced it, so I said, "Leif (Leaf)?" And Leif said, "Uh, no, Leif." I tried to recover with a, "Like Leif Ericson, the viking?" And he smiled and nodded. By that time, I had to start setting up merchandise, so I smiled back and said something like, "That's kickass!" before bouncing away. It's funny now, because he's told me how often he replayed that moment in his head when I didn't give it a second thought, at least until we started dating. He sent me a Myspace message asking me out for coffee. In all honesty (and embarrassment), I said yes but dreaded the date. I don't have much luck casually dating with guys and I was pretty emotionally drained at that point. So I just prepared to let him down easy. But then I was happily surprised by the great time we had, and came back to my dorm room that night three hours later than I expected and feeling weightless. Within the next week (okay, fourish days), we were together. He's hilarious, sympathetic, talented, generous, handsome and more. I love every minute together, even when we fight. Because I'd still rather be fighting with him than getting along with another person.

Singing on Rock Band: Does this even need an explanation? I can barely do any of the other instruments, and I'm an attention whore. Bada-boom
